In this function he advised decision-makers in politics and business and supported the development of the Central German economic and cultural region. Attorney Knigge studied law at the Universities of Leipzig, Halle-Wittenberg and Leuven (Belgium) with a focus on European law. After completing his studies, he additionally obtained the academic degree of a Master of European Law (LL.M. Eur.). He completed his legal clerkship in Hanover, Leipzig and Brussels with a focus on European Law.
